  KNIGHT IN SHINING PINK ARMOR

The End of the Year has a way of forcing us to reflect on the months before.

This is a time of reaping and sowing, in both positive and negative ways all depending on the decisions we've made in the prior months.

I'm currently reading Robert Greene's 50TH LAW, very fitting for such a time.

In this book, Greene touches on the theme of power, fearlessness and conquering of one's own mind. A great read for anyone who's interested in the 'psychology' of Success.

In Chapter two appropriately called 'make everything your own'

Greene emphasizes the importance of ownership.

''When you work for others, you are at their mercy. They own your work; they own you. Your creative spirit is squashed. What keeps you in such positions is a fear of having to sink or swim on your own. Instead you should have a greater fear of what will happen to you if you remain dependent on others for power. Your goal in every maneuver in life must be ownership, working the corner for yourself. When it is yours, it is yours to lose – you are more motivated, more creative, more alive. The ultimate power in life is to be completely self-reliant, completely yourself.''

This is a truth that many of us try to ignore. We're stuck in our routines because we are most comfortable with the familiar.

There's a popular saying that loosely translates as 'the coward lives long' but I see no honor in Living the life of a Man afraid to take his destiny into his own hands.

I challenge you this year to take the biggest risks of your life.

Eachday that you spend not progressing towards you dreams makes you feel as though you are at a stand still. Sadly, the truth is far worse. With everyday wasted you've lost time,  you've lost life force. In essence you're regressing simply by not acting.

Take the Jump and If you fall, you fell as a soldier.
